The University of Buea Choir known generally as UB Choir shoots amazing videos in three restless days. From all evidence, God was with us.
By Che Elvis
DAY ONE:
Tole neighborhood
We started a little late than expected but much of what we set for was achieved. The village setting was used for the Grass field medley and the tea background was well exploited.
The south African songs were done last and just before sunset, a thousand birds were directly over head in the sky while the tapes were turning, also a cock crew just as a chorister was tuning the Grass field medley Ikafaweh. I just know its God’s way of saying “Am with you guys”
DAY TWO:
The Mayor’s Residence
This was supposed to be the most active day but unfortunately it rained very heavily in the morning. We were almost frustrated at UB Junction and we kept singing.
This however turned into a blessing as the rains made the backgrounds even brighter and colorful. Just take a look
DAY 3:
Molyko
Shooting on the 3rd day was done in two phases; during the day on campus and at night in UB Junction. It was certainly the most tiring day and lucky enough the work was complete. The last shot was taken at 1: AM
It started with a slight rain “God’s blessing”, for about 15minutes. This rain touched all choristers since we were a little off shade and just like magic we became more motivated.
The first shot featured Mofa and Ms Justin “Ma Jus”. How nice! Take a look
There were so many people behind the scene, both in the field and in the studio. You can see the extensive list in the DVD or VCD’s which are already scrambled for in CD shops.

I used to believe that when Heroes die, their mentees are frustrated.BUT today, this blessed day that my eyes were set just on the last BUT NOT THE LEAST(my utmost believe) of the celebrated UB Choir’s clip images and not the vedio itself, my believe was renewed and I was clarified that “There’s a hero If you look inside your heart, You don’t have to be afraid Of what you are. There’s an answer If you reach into your soul And the sorrow that you know Will melt away and then a hero comes along With the strength to carry on And you cast your fears aside And you know you can survive. So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you’ll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you”.
Truely the hero lies in you.UB choir you are a hero. The diverse colours and miltiple backgrounds as well as choreograghic displays; In fact it is a must own. Congratulation UB Choir. Keep up and keep the faith.
Hope to be with you during the lunching in Yaounde(should there is one).

I must testify to you all Elvizy is really great in what he is doing here. I never thought him serious from day one, but when I saw many articles within a short period of time, I nodded my head like a lizard and said myself “Yet, another promising Blogger from Camer, Buea).
To my opinion, this site is a great success and one can easily tell from the daily visits and the quick ranking by Google. I hope you guys keep paying elvizy.com visits and most importantly contrinute your opinions (praises and critics) by commenting.

Yo thank goodness we did our best. You know with all kinds of constraints we faced during that period especially pressure from both the public and the choristers, keeping our moral boosted despite all the odds was a challenge. Tough times never last but tough people do! Aren’t we tough?

The brief pieces of song on the video were beautiful, and I would like to buy a copy of the CD. How would I pay for this ?
Alternatively, I would be happy to swap for a CD of the African music (or Latin American, or Reggae, or Funk) that I have collected over 30 years. I have 55 Franco albums (!) for instance, so it is possible that I may have some music that is hard to find these days.
Best wishes and Congratulations
