I'll like you to help me out here. I am a young chorister in a choir group in Douala (Deido) & a music lover but the big problem I have is i do not know how to read music; I mean to pick an unknown song & start learning on my own. Well I can do that with some simple songs but when it gets complicated, I get hooked. I equally have been called up to help out a youth group in my community in singing so when it's time to get to work, I face a lot of difficulties.
There's a brother from the UB Choir who's been of great help to the group; when he's taken off some time from school, he comes around & assist.
If you can, then please help me tell me the most simple way to learn music & how to teach. I have problems in the following areas:
--How to get the key of a song with respect to the different parts,
--Music timing,
--Reading the notes with respect yo the time indicated & the arrangement of the music.
Will be very grateful if you can help.
              THANKS
